Working with Stantec and Public Work on the Queen's Quay Waterfront Eastern LRT expansion [WELRT], Accessibility Simplified  undertook drawing reviews and provided recommendations to ensure compliance with the City of Toronto Accessibility Design Standards in addition to the AODA - IASR Part IV.1- Design of Public Spaces.

The project involved conducting accessibility reviews of the drawings for the public realm and pedestrian clearway, providing recommendations on where and how accessibility could be improved for pedestrians in the clearway, opportunities to widen the clearway, opportunities to increase accessibility of the seating areas, safety at LRT crossing and boarding platforms, and to provide direction to the City on improving public realm accessibility overall.
